Edward Hagger

Investment Manager

After graduating from the University of Oxford, Edward joined stockbrokers Montagu Loebl Stanley & Co in 1985 gaining experience in discretionary portfolio management, before moving onto the high net worth desk following the company’s acquisition by Robert Fleming & Co. Following two years of further academic study at the University of Cambridge, Edward joined Wise Speke in 1996 which was subsequently acquired by Brewin Dolphin, where he was a divisional director from 1998. Edward joined JM Finn in March 2016 to manage portfolios for private clients, trusts, charities and self-invested personal pensions (SIPPs). In December 2021, Edward joined Raymond James, London Wall which had been established by former colleagues.

Outside of work, Edward is passionate about architecture – his house, a perpetual work in progress, is now nearing completion. He also serves as Chairman of the Corporation of London’s Conservation Area Advisory Committee, is a Churchwarden at St Magnus the Martyr in the city, and engages in a hobby that no longer dares to speak its name: railways.
